How text-message consent works

Tribal Draft is operated by Robert William Bowden, a sole proprietor based in Maine. It sends authentication codes and optional fantasy-league notifications to players in the United States. Players initiate every enrollment through the Tribal Draft website. Messaging support is available at robbie.bowden1@gmail.com.

REVIEWER-VISIBLE OPT-IN

This public demonstration uses the same fields and disclosure as the production sign-in form. The recurring-alert checkbox starts unchecked and is not required to continue. It does not send a message or save the entered number.

Player opt-in flow

  1. A player opens Tribal Draft and selects Sign in.
  2. The player enters their mobile number. Selecting Text me a code requests one authentication message; it does not enroll the player in recurring alerts.
  3. A separate Optional league texts checkbox is displayed unchecked. The player can leave it unchecked and still request a code, sign in, create a league, and join a league.
  4. The optional disclosure states: “I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Tribal Draft, including episode results, prediction questions and results, and delayed draft-turn reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not required to use Tribal Draft.”
  5. After verification, recurring alerts are enabled only when the player selected the optional checkbox. Otherwise, the account is created with No text notifications. Players may later enable or disable alerts in Tribal Mail.

What triggers a message

A sign-in code is sent only when a player requests one. Subscribed players may receive episode-result alerts, prediction questions and awards, and delayed draft-turn reminders. Spoiler details are included only when a player separately enables them.

Keywords and account controls

Players cannot initially enroll by texting a keyword; enrollment occurs only through the optional website checkbox or Tribal Mail settings.
